Tay Ninh
Kent, I've been enjoying your travel blog, even though I live in Saigon. I'm a frequent visitor to Tay Ninh and, as you know, my novel, "Tears of Tay Ninh" is set there and along the Cambodian border in 1966. You provided me with a little known fact, and that is General The is buried on Nui Ba Den -- Black Lady's Mountain. Thank you for that. Tay Ninh is a magical and a mystical place. It's one of my favorite places to go when I need to get away from the hussle and bustle of Saigon. The people in Tay Ninh are extremely friendly and helpful. Best to you on your journey through Viet Nam. Thomas
