Been in Vietnam 3 nights now hotel is very nice and people are friendly went to the War Museum and it was a very interesting and eye opening afternoon.

Went on the river dinner cruise last night food and boat where fantastic but alas the river itself was just full of cargo ships and containers very disappointing nothing like the river in Bangkok.

As always happens we found a authentic Vietnamiese bar and restaurant on our last afternoon it was hidden away in a rather dingy lane and we where the only tourists who had ever ventured there I think but once they heard my accent I was treated like a long lost brother! The food and drink was so cheap not like other parts of the city we had visited.

Over all my thoughts on Ho Chi Minh would be worth a overnight stay just to see the war museum and the bar and restaurant up the dingy lane.

Oh one other lasting memory of the city must be the fact that half the worlds mopeds and motor cycles are alive and kicking in the city. To cross any road you must walk and they will miss you as if you don't you will be there for the rest of your days.
