My neighborhood street
Kinda cool looking ain't it. So much character, and the almost everybody who lived here when I was a little kid is still here, just grown up or old. So I'm finally getting how to cross the busy streets in Vietnam. Basically there are 2 schools of thought. One says just close your eyes and keep walking, cars and mopeds will avoid you. For the rest of us who are afraid of getting run over by semis, you can just walk normally when there is room and stop when there isn't. The only thing you can't do is jerk or hesitate; because the moped drivers can avoid or go in front of you, but if you jerk it'll throw them off.
Brag: Rode a moped today. Kinda cool, but no way am I riding into the HCMC streets.
Vietnam is kinda crazy really. Everywehere you look there's an accident waiting to happen, but surprisingly they don't. I see crazy dangerous stuff here daily, like cutting tiles right in the middle of busy tiny neighborhood street or welding next to a compressed air tank. Blows my mind, no pun intended. Sorry, no pics, I'll try to get them though.
Tonight we ate at a seafood street stall in one of the small inlets on 3/2 Street. An incredible amount of seafood for 6 only put me back 370,000 VND
My house in HCMC
Very narrow, but pretty freaking tall. Standard HCMC house or a little more than $20. Pretty sweet. The snails and shrimp were incredibly fresh and I was really putting them away. When we left, I could barely walk.

Awesomeness
Amazing! Looks like so much fun. Nick can you take better pics of the food. Some are really blurry. Thanks!
