Now in Hoi An

Happy New Year!!!
We have travelled down from to Hanoi to Hue. We only spent 1 night there as we wanted to be in Hoi An for tet (New Year). On the bus down- horrible 12hr journey ( they left without us and we had to chase the bus in a taxi-more well organised transport in Vietnam!) we met loads of great people-some aussies and english guys ( 4 people on 1 bus from Essex, how bad is that!). We all went out for News Years Eve last night-completely insane!Mad street parties, dragons,dancing. We were invited into Mr Pho's shop for some rice wine and strange porridge like cake. All the locals were really happy that we were enjoying there celebrations ( i think we were celebrating more than them though and they just watched us for entertainment). We then ended up in a pub and i was dancing on the bar! (Normal new years eve really!). Apparently there were fireworks but somehow we missed it! Got in at 4 this morning-not done much today funnily enough..and its raining!-was really hot when we arrived. I think the bad weather is following us).
Sorry if this entry makes no sense but i think i still have rice wine in my system.
Glad to hear its freezing in England.
Will add some mad pictures from last night soon.

Happy Tet!
That's what the Viets say but in M'sia, it's Happy Chinese New Year! We had our reunion dinner last night and today was spent visiting relatives. Pretty tiring but good to see everyone again. I'm glad you're joining in the festivities!

ounds like life as usual for you then! It's freezing here to but it's supposed to be. Huge amounts of snow so fabulous condition for skiing. Kimberley, BC, for a couple of weeks as the reps here origianl quit tho they ar still hanging around for the time being a bit difficult regards work as they can't let go. We will see wha happens any way. Have fun an behave
