comfort or excess ?

yesterday, i bought two tickets on an overnight bus (12 hours) from 'nha trang' to 'hoi an'. i also paid for a half day at my hotel so that i would have a place to relax before getting on that bus. both expenditures proved unnecessary.

as far as "wasting" the afternoon before my 7pm bus see the previous Headline entry.

i have considered paying for an extra seat many times so that i might be more comfortable on a long-haul bus. finally, i did it. and of course the bus was nearly empty. it was a complete bust (waste of money). fortunately, i only paid $4.75 for the extra ticket. i haven't dwelt on it at all. seriously!
