and our newest threads
We arrived in this beach city fresh after our wardrobe revival in Hoi An. It is known for its amazing beaches. The waves were incredibly powerful, but the beach didn’t feel too special. Maybe it was because it rained for the duration of our stay, 3 days. We took a city tour, where two guys drove us around to show us the sights about town.

We saw a little baquette factory, where Asian bakers--a bit of an oxymoron in itself-- rolled and patted dough all day. We sampled one fresh out of the huge oven. Crispy and delightful.

One of our driver’s names was Bamboo. Because of his belly, some people called him Buddha, others just fat boy, which he plainly accepted. Fat boy was very-pro American. His father fought along side the Americans against the Viet Cong. Interesting guy to talk to. Overall, Nha Trang was very uneventful, but it was good just to relax for a few days before we went to the next place.

We had to cross a really skinny bridge on motorbike, nervous we were, by the look of it.
