nha trang beach
almost paradise, but we reckon there will be better to come! Xin Chao,
We arrived in Nha trang at around 11.30pm after a nightmare journey. We got a taxi to the centre of Nha Trang, where there seemed to be alot of hotels and restaurants according to the rough guide book (The bible-When your away!), and we managed to find a cheap hotel for the night. The next day we were up early to find ourselves another hotel as the one we stayed in the previous night was OK but we could do better. After we checked in we headed straight for the beach, as it was just down the road. It was so nice nice to finally just chillax on the beach for a day.Straight away we had people coming up to us asking for massages, tempting as it was, Rob thought they was all mingers so we decided against it.
One thing we have noticed that we found quite funny, is that all their moisturisers and beauty products have whitening/ bleaching agents in them. We found out this is because, they find pale skin beautiful, hence all the touching. Han felt right at home hehe. So no buying any of their beauty products!!
For lunch we went
club louisiana on the beach
if you bought drinks/food you could use pool and beach beds, very plush! to a place called the Louisiana club on the beach which as long as you eat or drink there you can enjoy the facilities they can offer you - Swimming pool and loungers on the beach. In the evening we had our usual traditional vietnamese dinner of meat and rice with some fresh vegetables. There spring rolls really are the best with peanut sauce. The same day we booked our open bus ticket to Dalet. The next day we were up bright and early to get on the air-con comfy bus to Dalat, inland up in the mountains.
Xin Chao (From Dalet),
Well, we have never seen such beautiful scenery on our way up to Dalet. Up in the mountains, through villages so basic they still use animals to farm, carry water on their backs and live in small wooden shack houses. The roads were very bumpy, in places there wasnt really a road, dirt tracks were the most common road on the way there. In was fun though to see such a basic way of living, it really does make you feel grateful for what you've got. The children wave to you as you go past, they

the pool and beds just love westerners.
So, we get to the top of Dalet, where this actually quite large town sits, and it is boling hot! We get dropped off in the usual fashion and start to look for somewhere to stay. Its so hot though, that walking around is killing us and this guy (Who is in a company called the easyriders, they have motorbikes and take foreigners wherever) keeps following us, telling us to come to this other hotel. In the end we did, but we were getting pretty annoyed with him. We settled in for 10 dollars a couple for the night, we all shard onw big room as it worked out cheaper.
We went out for a wander in the evening and couldn't beleive the drop in temperature, it was cold. To be honest theres not much in Dalet, there is a lake and thats about it. So we decided we could class the trip up to Dalet our sightseeing, as it really was amazing. We got some Thai green curry for tea, which was lush and then headed back to the room to crash out, as we has another early start to Mui Ne in the
posin with his special brew!
but theres not a mic in sight?! morning.
So until next time... Party on dudes
