xin chao!

so we got picked up from Dalet to head back down to the coast to mui ne, passing all the same scenic stuff on the way down. Mui ne is generally just realy nice beaches and thats just what we all needed, some quality chillaxing time! Arriving at our resort, that An phu travel company had dropped us off at, we get off to searing heat, like 47 degrees heat!! The place looks quite cool and relaxed so we book ourselves into one of the basic little challets. They had their own restaurant there so we got some lunch and a coconut to drink, which was lush, before heading to the beach to catch some serious rays. We only had to walk bout 20metres to the beach, as the resort was on it.

It was really peaceful and the locals were using their traditional boats to catch fish in the sea. However, rob thought he would go for a swim after an hour of baking. First off he seemed fine and i had walked down to the edge to take some pictures. Next thing i know, rob is running out of the water saying something along the

lines of 'been stung', 'jellyfish', 'really hurting'! We rushed up to reception to try and explain that rob had been stung across the top of both feet. The woman finally understood, sat him down and rubbed sugar into the sting. Never heard that method before, but apparently thats what the locals do. It didn't seem to work too well but eventually it subsided and we went back down to the beach. After a lazy day, the sun finally went down and the temperature cooled a bit, seriously we have never sweated so uncontrollably because of the humidity in our lives. Horrible but everyone is the same at least. You even sweat standing still!

The follwing day we had another lazy hot day on the beach, taking walks along at sunset and collecting the multicoloured shells that get washed up all the time. In fact the size of some of the jellyfish that get washed up are huge! Definately put us off going in. The next day outr time was up in mui ne, we had to get to Ho chi minh city because of time. So we left paradise and got on the An phu bus for a 3

This is what most of the locals use to catch fish. They bang on the side of the boat to encourage fish to the surface.
