Enjoyed the rest of our time in Hoi An - it was a really cool place, a national heritage site, old town charm, funky little bars with a great beach close by. We did a cookery course so we'll be having everyone round for a Vietnamese banquet - Dave has volunteered to do all the cooking!

Arrived in Nha Trang a couple of nights ago, an hour's flight south from Hoi An. Lynn loved the propeller plane! We're about three quarters of the way down Vietnam now.

This place is so different to everyone else we've been to - it's Vietnam's version of the Costa del Sol! The beach is lovely, with cabana bar type place with pool where we've been sunbathing at. The town is a different story - very tacky, quite dodgy, basically you can buy anything, everything and anyone here! But we're enjoying just chilling, getting a tan, drinking a few mojitos (only 1 euro each) before we head off to do more hardcore travelling!

We're here another couple of nights before heading to Saigon - looking forward to seeing the tunnels and the War Museum.

not fair
so not fair.. i think you are both purposefully making everybody at home jealous! Beach, 1 euro mojitos, exotic places like Saigon, hoi An -kiddin of course i am just very jealous. certainly a million miles away from dark rainy nights and overpriced cocktails in Dublin. enjoy every second. can't wait for the vietnamese meal when u get back!
