It was abit of a race when we arrived back in Hanoi, we had to get back to the hostel to collect our bags then get to the bus stop in order to catch our open bus to our next destination - Ninh Binh!
Not a very touristy back-packery place which was cool, good to get off the lonely planet route now and again! Just spent a couple of days here, hired a moped to take ourselves on a little tour of the area!
We took another walk up 400steps to a mountain top, had a wonderful view of Ninh Binh, miles of green countryside! little windy roads connecting each little village!
Then we headed to a little village where you hire paddle boats and sit back and relax as you are rowed along tiny little rivers winding through the pinnacles, surrounded by lush green rice fields! Apparently they call it a mini halong bay here due to the pinnacles surrounding the area!
Not a massive lot to do here so we booked ourselves back on our over night, open bus to go to Hoi An! Dress making here we come!!!
