And finally we arrived....

By 6am it was obvious that the bus would not be getting to Hanoi at it's supposed arrival time of 6am as we were no where near. I gave up trying to sleep as the roads/ bus guys were making it pretty impossible. We finally arrived in Hanoi at about 11:30am, only 5hr 30mins late!!

We flagged a taxi and things got worse. I showed guy the full address of our hotel and he nodded. We only needed to go about 1km but no this guy took us miles away. We told him we were going the wrong way and showed him the map and eventually after an hour (and 20km's) of going round in circles we finally started going the right way. At 13:00 we finally got into our hotel room 😊 and I had one of the best showers of my life followed by lunch, a look at Halong Bay tours and a lounge around afternoon/evening.
