We are staying in an old hotel in District 1 by the name of Empress Hotel. It is a scale down from the places we have been staying at, but a good location for seeing the historical sites of downtown.

Words to the Wise: do your own research on places to stay and book well in advance during peak season. There are many places that are not very good, as we found out.
