We have had quite the adventures over the last few days....after Sa Pa we returned back to Hanoi for one night before leaving for our organized boat tour of Halong Bay. This is one of the floating villages. There are 500 people total in this village. The government pays them for every kilo of trash in special collection buoys to keep the water clean. Way to go Uncle Ho!

Steve jumped off the top deck for a pack of oreos...there is a serious chocolate shortage in Vietnam so we seize any chance we can get to stuff our faces :-)

Floating village life... There is a floating school too, where all of the kids row in for the day.
