HANOI - 16/03/07 to 17/03/07

Hanoi is a busy city with about 3.5 million people. The main form of transport is by motorbike which makes it interesting trying to cross the busy streets. Near death experiences are common. We arrived late so decided to go out for a few 17cent beers. What a bargain!!!! Since it was so late, no restaurants were open so we ate some floppy corn from a street vendor who tried to rip Julie off. But being assertive and loud, we stopped him from getting away.

The hotel where we stayed were really helpful and planned our whole Vietnam trip. Totally recommend anyone travelling to Hanoi to stay there. The hotel staff even made sure we boarded the night train safely to Sapa.................
