I met this woman in the village and asked her to take me to some old houses for taking photos. She then took me to her house too. Her work is to collect rice redundances from making rice wine and sell it to the pig-raising families. I think this is a low income job.

The other side of the river is Bắc Ninh province. There are two ferry locations and one road way to Thổ Hà village. (Phía bên kia sông Cầu là bến Vạn thuộc tỉnh Bắc Ninh. Có 2 bến đò và một con đường bộ vào làng Thổ Hà).

Pig raising is one of the works the locals do to get income. They also make rise wine and rice papers.

Tho ha Old Village
Great to read about your latest travel when I was feeling sleepy after lunch. People are so hard working earning a living in this old village from making rice papers to raising pigs. Now I know how rice papers are made :)
