Edit Blog Post

Hi all,

Firstly we would like to point out to everyone that we added some photos on our previous blog so you should check them out!!

We left Hoi An with our tailored garments and full to the brim with French pastries to head to Hue where we plan to see some ancient tombs and citadels.

Since our last post we pretty much haven't done much!! The last few days have been spent purely relaxing on the beach and eating really good food. We have been traveling round the city on our bicycles which has been getting us fit. Unfortunately there were a couple of incidents where other members of the hotel (not in our group) had accidents. But we're ok!! So Happy Days.

The only incident Kelly and I had was on our way back from the beach (about 3km away) my bike broke about 200m from the beach. Alex was not happy as it meant we had to walk the rest 😞 not a happy camper.
Lots of locals stopped though to try and help us fix the bike but it was well and truly dead!

Kelly: We also had a go at riding 'vietnamese style' back from the beach one day as we found 3 of our friends at the beach and only had 3 bikes, so I sat on the back of Alex's bike which was hilarious and also terrifying! Once I got my balance it was okay though... Later that evening we actually saw 3 people on one bicycle! How?!

Also we had a fun experience at the tailor's, 'Mr. Xe's' as Alex has had a linen jacket made... with baby blue lining! I think the shop girl fancied him so we have a hilarious photo of what we think is a Vietnamese wedding...?!

The journey from Hoi An to Hue is through what is arguably the most scenic part of the entire country and maybe even South East Asia, the Hai Van Pass or the 'Cloud Ocean Pass'. If anyone watched the Top Gear in Vietnam it's the bit where they go along the hairpin bends up and down the mountains and go 'THIS IS AWESOME!!!' wasn't quite the same in the bus but the scenery was absolutely stunningly beautiful (we will try and show you). Green mountains and rice paddies, it's hard to imagine this area

That's all the news for now!

Oh and in line with us trying to put up a photo of something cute we have a kitty for you all...

Also it's 40 degrees C and HOT here. We mean REALLY hot.

Love
