and it gets a lift for free ... but at the end of a sticky day in rainy Vietnam it will certainly end up in a hot pot as com vit with loads of chili and some veg. What an unhappy end :(
or should I better say "nach dem Regen ist vor dem Regen" ? Shalom, bonjour, good morning guys & girls. Our last day in Vietnam today, heavy rainfalls are flushing us over the border to Cambodia. Can u send us some parapluies please. We started rushing southwards thru the country and finally found peace in the Mekong Delta aka the south Vietnam rice basket, where we spent the last few days strolling along the little rivers and canals. Irrigated and sprinkled by the Mekong River, this delta produced itself alone one-half of the rice of the country, which allows Vietnam to become the third largest exporter of rice in the world. Clocks are ticking much slower in that region, people seem to be more relaxed and hearty compared to the north. Communication in general is quite challenging, u dunnot neet to make it to Japan in order to get lost in translation 😊 You barely get the chance to have a chat with locals and our Vietnamese is, how come, still lacking.
Vietnam is doing good economy-wise, seems that they're catching up with the big tourism business i.e. in Thailand, faster than expected. For sure some regions are changing dramatically, might

about the long-term social & economical impact of the spanish inquisition. Hmm, after some beers I suddenly started to understand what he was saying. Anyway, it still sounds all greek to me.
be hard to recognize them in a few years time. To be honest we're looking forward to Cambodia and Laos where we wanna gear down for a little while.
Good to see that we are still on track since we intended to strictly follow the deep red Malaria route. But so far we haven't been able to infect some bloody moscito.
Chao folks, keep riding the big wave ... you are always on our minds as u know. Now check the pix and have a laugh ...

We crashed into a party in Han Tien (small port town close to the Cambodian border). It turned out to be a heavy duty beer drinking, spring roll eating and nasty dancing contestl. At least Irina won the dance as u can clearly make out.

Irina won the dance contest, and you ?
You won the beer drinking one ? hey, you want to laugh, read that! Eduardo tried to compete with Toni during the last meeting (beer drinking contest, of course. Unless it was not beer at all ...) . Well I should rather say, during a night after the training ... Toni said the Promenade des Anglais was not wide enough ... :) Eduardo got lost somewhere in Nice, we don't know how he managed to retrieve his flat, and he did not show up before 13:00 the day after :)
