My road ended in Khiva, in between the 2 Kyzylkum and Karakum deserts, right at the border with Turkmenistan. I didn’t expect it to end there. That wasn’t the plan at all. Abdullah Muhammed Ibn Muso Al Khorezmi (780-850), the father of algebra. Born in Khiva, he proved a budding scientist from his early days, displaying such extraordinary talent that he was invited to study in Baghdad, one of the world's leading cultural and intellectual centres of the time. Here he embarked on an brilliant academic career, studying under the auspices of various Khalifs, working in the Baghdad observatory and teaching in the famous 'Baytul Hikma' university ('Dwelling of the Wise') which produced several notable Arab and Central Asian scientists.

the girl can't. Good choice. But I missed the welcome home picture where the girl kisses the boy.

it was a very small kiss anyway... ;-)
she was either still mad at me for leaving her alone for months... or felt a bit bad for not letting me finish my trip! Either way, I have been taking advantage of this: the sentence "I came back from Uzbekistan for you" has been very useful to avoid washing dishes at home! haha!
