Adventures at Railay Beach, Thailand

I’m fortunate enough to work in Thailand for a Thai Translation Company and managed to get 2 weeks off to go travel. There’s one great place to visit that is not too far away from Krabi Town in southern Thailand that I’d really recommend. The beach and surroundings have splendid aqua blue waters and some nearby interesting rock formations. Some rock climbers go there to do abseiling from the mountainside.



It’s really a picturesque place though it can get quite busy with the many tour operators who operate the long tail boats unloading their passengers, so perhaps it’s not a place you go to for meditation or anything but it’s still a great place to visit. There are many small curious monkeys with a charming exterior that come down from the mountainside to join the beach goers. They’re quite cute, but watch out! They are looking for food to steal and can be quite aggressive if they don’t get what they want.
