Thats right Dan and Shan are off to Thailand again
When we returned from Thailand last April, we just knew we wanted to go back, so last August we booked our holiday.
What started out as a 15 day trip quickly became 20 days due to free nights at some hotels and wanting to stay longer to see new friends that we have been chatting to on the net.
Our itenary goes something like this........
We fly out on Saturday 11th April in the morning, stop overin Kuala Lumpur for 3 hours arriving in Bangkok around 8pm. We have arranged to stay overnight at a local Hotel near the airport as we fly straight to Koh Samui on the morning of the 12th.
We are spending 4 nights on Koh Samui staying at the Baan Samui Resort.
This year we get to experience Songkran (Thai New Year) which we missed out on last year. We have been forewarned that we will be soaking wet all day due to getting drenched with water!! We will also meet Nui who we have been chatting to on the net.
Sounds like great fun and I have my waterproof camera case ready. A daytrip to
Koh Tao for snorkeling is also booked.
We then fly to Phuket where we are staying at the Holiday Inn Resort for 8 nights in the Bussakorn Wing.
Whilst in Phuket we will do and Elephant trek, go to the infamous
BBQ with Richard & Megumi , rent a scooter and try to stay unscathed, hopefully also do a snorkeling daytrip to Koh Khai. We have also booked Mr Sam as our driver on the 17th to take us around Phuket and show us some sights. We have also booked a
Sailing Cruise with Richard and Megmui and
John Gray's Sea Canoe - Hongs by Starlight. Then we will fly back to Bangkok where we are booked into Siam@Siam Design Hotel and Spa. This is the same Hotel we stayed at last year and it is awesome - we had to stay here again.
In Bangkok we will go to Chatuchak Market, go to Wat Phra Kaew (temple) with another net friend Chur, and of course do plenty of shopping at MBK and other places. We are also very lucky to be invited to stay with Sao and her family who we have met on the net. She is taking us to her holiday house in Pak Chong, a couple of hours out of Bangkok, to stay for 2 nights. She is also letting us stay at one of her condos for 2 nights!!
We are sooooo excited and can't wait to get there and meet the people we have been chatting to.
