Sa-wat-dii kha!

Greetings from Thailand!

Just a quick update to let you all know that we arrived here safely, and we're loving Thailand loads so far!

We've already spent a few days in Bangkok, where we visited the Grand Palace and watched some interesting "nightlife".

We spent the day at an Elephant Conservation Camp, and fell in love with all of the heffalumps there. They are now officially on our Christmas lists if you all want to club together.

We are now in a place called Pai, a peaceful mountainside town, which took about 4 hours to reach on a rickety old bus up some scarey winding roads.

We will be able to impress you all with our Thai green curry, sweet and sour pork and shrimp noodle soup when we're back in Blighty, as today we took part in a Thai Cookery Class.

Next we head off to a National Park, so we'll update you on our adventures when we next have internet access.

Here are a few pics to keep you all happy! and a video of Elephants playing plastic tubular bells, its a little shaky as I was so overcome with emotion from it all! ;-)

Lots of love,
Clare Bear and Jem Weasel x x x x x x x x x

They made us wear these shirts to cover our modesty, but we look like we're in uniform, and we work for some kind of safari park!
