by now, you have probably realized that i'm writing these almost a month after they happened. sorry, haven't had the time, and we all know what a procrastinator i am! i'm just going to give shortened versions of everything because the internet can be expensive (cough such as in laos!!)
travelled all day to pai (pronounced "bye") in the very north of thailand, near the burmese border. SO GORGEOUS! it's a lot cooler too, due to the elevation. the road was retardedly windy and i thought sleeping kim was going to fall of the seat at times!
had dinner at a mexican restaurant that imports cheese. we have been craving cheese like you wouldn't believe! also sick of thai food. they had pitchers of margueritas for 99 baht which is really cheap. rice whiskey does the job! we call it "wice whiskey" hehe
staying at a really cute place on the river in an adorable bungalow. we have a day bed and hammock on our deck! SO CHEAP!
