Bangkok - our return to Asia!

Our first post covid return to Asia and we are loving it! Stayed at our favorite hotel along the Chao Phraya river (CentrePointe Silom) with a great river view. We love watching all the river traffic - early morning barges and a few longtail boats, to evening lit dinner cruise boats and the nightly fireworks.



Walking the streets, we don't see alot of changes. Unfortunately, 2 of our favorite small restaurants are closed, and appears they have been closed for awhile. Masks are worn by almost everyone, and the streets seem to be alittle quieter. We are told last month was busy, but for some reason, Dec has not been busy. Not sure how much of this is China's covid closure.



Determined to take the days abit slower, we have enjoyed wandering the streets, a great massage, riding the river taxis and a fabulous Tuk tuk food tour!



Tomorrow we leave for Bali, so with speedy internet, I will post a blog!
