Potty Phuket!

I thought i knew what I was in for when I booked our timeshare resort in Patong on Phuket Island...but I didn't!

It is like an asian Rimini or perhaps worse still an asian Benidorm with the same sort of tourists from Europe on the same sort of budget they would have been holidaying on in Italy or Spain.

It,must have been quite beautiful before all this was allowed to happen but the wrong sort of tourism has invaded the land leaving devastation perhaps worse than that caused by the 2004 tsunami.

We are nevertheless enjoying ourselves, loving having Elisa here with us and the weather is glorious. We are going,out to see a show tonight ' ladymen' at their best we are told and tomorow we,hope to,take a,tuktuk round the beaches to see,if,we,can find something a little,more secluded.
