last minute detour

a last minute detour in phuket...up at 4:15 in the morning to fly out of bkk at 6am to arrive at ko samui at 7am has turned into a whole other situation.

There was 0 visibility flying into the airport at Ko Samui this morning along heavy winds and rain. As we quickly descended and banked into a sharp turn towards the airport I could see that we were at maybe 1000 feet. The air was really unstable and right before we touched down, the pilot aborted pushing to full throttle. The strange thing was it felt like we werent climbing at all, we were at the back of the plane which might have been part of it, lets just say that it was super scary. After 5 minutes of people trying to figure out what happened, the flight attendants informed us that we were rerouting to Phuket...

anyway there is a small bungalow beach resort of the coast on the island of Yao Yai. We will take a boat there in the morning and stay for a few days..
