He's five years old and his name is Phuket. When I bought the food for him, the guide said, "Phuket can take your money" and the elephant grabed it with his trunk. I thought, "Yes, it can, and I'm not talking about the elephant..."

Finally, we found the perfect beach for Sen! Unfortunately, we were sunburned from our outing to Coral Island, so we had to wait until late afternoon to enjoy it.

Lovely description, Dawn. I went to Thailand but didn't make it to Phuket; yet, after reading your blog, I want to go back and spend some time there. Nice of you to inspire people to travel. And the baby elephant? CUTE!
