Thailand - Phuket

We arrived in Phuket on Tuesday 24th April after a 2 hour boat ride from Koh Phi Phi and a 45 minute taxi ride to our hotel in Patong. After a brief walk around the local area, we had dinner at the hotel before watching a DVD and having an early night. On Wednesday morning, it took me a couple of hours to find a reasonable flight to Bali that departed the following day. In the afternoon, we went go-kart racing on a good size track with decent go-karts. We then went for lunch at an Aussie pub and were served a lovely pie, mash and mushy peas. In the evening we went for dinner and drinks at a Rock Cafe before going to Banana Club until 2am. Then we found a bar showing the Chelsea Vs Liverpool game and watched the first half before going to another club (Seduction). When this club closed at 4am, we found another open air bar/club where we stayed until 6.30am. After a fun motorbike taxi ride home in monsoon conditions, I only had 45 minutes to get my stuff together before my taxi arrived to take me to the airport for my flights to Bali. Ian had the luxury of a one hour sleep before he had to leave for his flight to Bangkok.
