Almost five months since we move from Seattle to Bangkok, and we’ve successfully completed the first semester of grad school! I’m happy to be back in school, I’ve learned a lot in just one semester and four classes, but now it’s time for summer break and some adventures. Bungalow in Koh Tao?
Hello over there! I am planning to go to Koh Tao in August and I am desperately looking for a nice place to stay, but somehow the internet doesn't help much. I looked at your pictures and read your blog entry and it seems, you had found a good place to stay at. Can you give me any contact details or something like that? Or do you maybe even have other recommendations on where to stay in Koh Tao? That would be really helpful! Thanks in advance Hanka

Hi there! Hope I didn't catch you too late. I would recommend heading north of the pier to a beach called Sairee. I've stayed in three different bungalows all very near a Thai restaurant called the Coffee Boat (excellent food - eat there). Sorry I can't recall all the names but I found those to be the best prices. I believe one was called Sairee Cottages. I think last time we paid 500 baht for a bungalow with an en suit bathroom and a fan. Best of luck and enjoy Koh Tao!
