About one week before we arrived in Thailand, the previous Thai visa exemption rule was changed from 30 days to 15 days for travelers arriving to the country by land. We had to make two day-long runs to the border - one from Chiang Mai to Myanmar and one from Koh Samui to Malaysia - to exit and re-enter the country with a new 15-day stamp.

Hey there, the tattoos look fabulous, and you guys look so well and so relaxed! Apologies for the long hiatus in contact. Between the sun coming out in Danang, Tet holiday and leaving plans (I got a new job - we're moving to Seoul in April) I've just been a real slacker... Thanks for giving me back the travel bug...
