Going South

Right, we have made it to Ko Tao.

We were in Chiang Mai only 36 hours ago, so I am pretty tired, what with two overnight train journeys and almost no sleep!!

We have signed up to do beginners and advanced dive courses respectively; indeed Joanna has just started her initial briefing and videos and that sort of jazz. Strangely for me there does not appear to be and intermediate, or a have done it before but it was a while ago course, although they do give you a bluffers guide in the morning of day one to get you back into it and I have already been given homework.

The island is incredible and would be something out of lost, but for the quantity of river taxis. They appear to be the Tuk Tuks of the islands.

As suggested by one of our subscribers we are likely to struggle to keep up with the level of detail achieved in our first blog and today that is certainly true.
