Hello

Unfortunately this is our last blog entry. I know you will all be disappointed lol! We head home tonight. We can't quite believe how quick our time in thailand has gone! We are currently in Prachup Kiri Khan a few hours drive out of Bangkok. That's where we are heading to in a couple of hours time for our long journey back home! Can't wait!

In our last entry we were in Chang Mai about to head to the south of the country for 2 weeks of sun, sea and sand. Well that didn't exactly materialise ha ha! The weather hasn't been the greatest with plenty of rain but never mind. We have still had a great time nonetheless and had a couple of interesting experiences along the way! Our first experience was the tsunami alert we were given whilst on koh phi phi. We were both terrified running through the streets along with everyone else looking for higher ground. The alert was triggered by the earthquake in Indonesia and people there are psychologically scarred by the last tsunami. Everything turned out ok in the end and no tsunami arrived thank god! Our other experience has been the plane crash in phuket. Thanks to everyone who has got in touch asking if we are ok. We weren't any where near phuket at the time of the crash but we had taken that exact flight with the same airline only 6 days earlier. A little scary!

Anyway enough of the doom and gloom we are both ok. Since our last blog entry we've spent time in puhket, koh phi phi and railay on the andaman coast not doing a great deal. We've also spent time in koh samui and koh tao on the east coast enjoying what the islands had to offer. After a few nights on koh tao we have headed back onto the mainland for an overnight stop here in Prachup Kiri Khan before we head back to Bangkok. All in all we have enjoyed our time in Thailand. Looking forward to seeing you's all at some point soon
