So we've been here for 4 days already and haven't really achieved much but a bit of a sun burn. well I've got a sun burn, Matt got to work on his tan a bit. So far we've just been spending our days snorkelling, lying on the beach, reading and walking around the island. We haven't got too far from our bungalo but have seen quite a bit. The snorkelling was really nice though, we went about 50 feet out and could see right to the bottom. There was a lot of colorful coral, and loads of fish. Only some of them were brightly coloured though. We've seen quite a few land creatures here as well. On our second day here a snake came to visit us a breakfast. It was about one meter long and bright green. It just dropped out of a tree and slithered along the railing right beside the tables. The locals were all looking at it, but they didn't look too scared so we didn't think it was too dangerous. There was also a lizard we found in our bungalo this morning. He was just sitting on the wall, I think it was more his bungalo
Seafood spread on the beach
We chose the Jack fish and Red Snapper than ours. He was about a foot long and was bright blue and yellow. and no, we didn't eat him for dinner. we thought that we might have a new roommate, but about 20 min later the celing in our place collapsed. So we had to swich rooms. Don't worry though, we no one got hurt.
Also, a couple of nights ago we went to a seafood barbecue on the beach. They have all the fish, prawns, lobsters, and crabs they caught that day. You pick which one you would like and they barbecue it for you, right on the beach. Our table was so close to the water the waves nearly touched our feet. It was really nice. I think we'll be doing that again. Well I really just wanted to put up some pictures here, because we couldn't last time. So here they are.
