Now For A Little Catching Up

Hey guys,

Sorry we hadn't Blogged in a while we have been whirlwind traveling and finally found a place where we could relax and find an Internet Cafe. Ok now for a little recapping, I unfortunately got sick in Phuket, everyone else had a blast. The weather was bad but they enjoyed it.

I quickly got better after some rest and we were off on our way to Koh Phi Phi. This place was beautiful and yes the Tsunami devistation is still present. The place was amazing, we booked bungalows on the beach, unfortunantly the hotel that we booked was inaccessable due to the storm. However we were offered another bungolow that we could reach. However, there was just one catch. We had to walk across the beach with guides carrying our bags. It was low tide so we coudl walk right by all the boats and rocks. oh, and it was raining. Then we had to trek through the jungle to get to our own private beach. It was absolutely amazing. we left koh phi phi the next day (truthfully I could have stayed a week) to go to Krabi.

Now we decided to go to Krabi on a whim and we kind of messed up. Krabi is a small town on the coast of thailand. It supposedly has amazing caves to explore by kyak, however we got to the place late and we couldn't do anything. We made the best of it and wondered the town. It was quaint and interesting but kinda boreing. The down side was that we coudl not get back to Phuket to the way we came. Or so they said. We could however take a bus ride and a boat ride that would take the entire day. So we did that. To make matteres worse, Melissa's bag was broken into and they stole some jewelry. That was the worst part. But now we are in Koh Sumui, Which is amazing!

Ok I've already wrote way too much, but here's just a few things that we have done in Koh Sumui, we took a ziplined canopy tour through the rainforest. It was scary and awesome. Our guides were funny and they preformed acrobatics while they zipped through the trees. We have also gone snorkeling off the island of Koh Tao which was beautiful we saw fish and coral and one woman saw a black tipped shark. We met a really nice Guide, his name was Joy and Dan and Amy hung out with him last night at a Reggae pub. So thats that in a nut shell, when we get home we will have tons more to tell you all. We are doing great on this island that we don't want to leave but we miss you tons. Take Care - Johnnie
