Koh Phangan - Full Moon - Same same but different!!!

Hi again!!! so we have spent 5 nights in Koh Phangan which was amazing best place yet by far. We stayed at Coral Bungalows which is famous for its pool parties...every single night...haha they are really fun but they go on until 6am every morning. Our bungalow also happened to be one of the closest to the pool but it didnt bother us at all once you have slept at Leeds you can sleep anywhere. The first night party was the best we made friends with our neighbours who were German, they were a group of 8 boys and once again I can't remember any names haha... We also made friends with two Irish people called Roisin and Martin who we stayed in the pool with til about 4am.
The next day we were soooo hungover Sangsom (Thai rum) makes you feel so ill it doesn't matter if you have 1 glass or 1 bucket the stuff is lethal. Anyway after a day of recovery we managed to prepare ourselves for another pool party and more Sangsom :-). However this was not the biggest event of the night Michael took me down to the beach and proposed to me!!! Very romantic and of course i said yes so we are now engaged!!! Haha. Hopefully when we get back if we can afford it we will be having a party to celebrate with everyone :-) The next day we decided to just relax and give the pool party a miss in preparation for the big night so instead we found a really nice place callee the Sunset bar on the beach which was really chilled out. It was so nice it had cushions on the beach so we could just lie on the sand. We spent quite a while there and then went to another bar called the tree house. They had the cutest little puppy so I went give it a cuddle and it then started attacking me haha it was biting so hard. :-( I have now learnt my lesson from stroking random dogs!!! We had to run away from the puppy because it would not go away haha!!! So the Full Moon Party night finally arrived and we got all dressed up and put lots of glow paint on with all of the people staying at the bungalows very messy :-) we had a few buckets at the bungalows and then headed to the beach. The party is crazy and the buckets were cheap so I was drinking mojito buckets and Michael had gin and lemonade. There were people doing fire skipping ropes and there was a fire slide which Michael went down haha!!! I will put the pictures on facebook as soon as I can. We found a little drum and bass bar which we stayed in most of the time but unfortunately we didn't get to stay for the sunrise because I had a few too many drinks and had to go home :-( Now we are on our way to Koh Tao and we are staying in our first dorms!! We are really hoping to do a scuba diving course but just got to work out how much money we have first!! It is the cheapest and most popular place in Thailand to do it and a lot of the deals include free accommodation. Hope everyone is good!! Love Katie & Michael X x x x
