Well!!! guess what i was doing at 8am this morning?????????? No thought u wouldnt be able to! well I was treking through the jungle on the back of an elephant! yes you read right an elephant, it was brilliant, must admit i was a bit scared at first but then really enjoyed it and I even fed them banana's how brave am I, there was also a little monkey there that was really cute although it was petrified of the elephants and kept hiding behind the tree when it saw them, apparently what the monkey didnt know was that the elephants were more scared of him lol!!
We then went to visit a chinese temple where you had to make a wish when you walked in and we were assured that this wish would come true, guess what I wished for???? not telling!
Next we got onto a longtail boat, I use the term got onto very loosely as it was more like fell onto as the steps were so steep, the boat stopped in the Indian ocean while we done some snorkeling it was amazing so I have now decided that I either a) want to be a
mermaid or B) want to go scuba diving, as I don't think A is an option I will now add B to my 'to do list'.
Lunch was served on a beach that I can only describe as 'heaven on earth' the name of it is Ao Thong Nai Pan Noi (I obviously have a map in front of me for the spelling) It really was paradise, the lunch was good to, and we have decided to up sticks and travel there tomorrow.
After lunch we done a 2km trek to Than Sadet where on the trek we seen a 'green snake' and then we swam in a very cold and fresh waterfall once again the whole experience was brill.
After all the exhaustion of the above we spent the remainer, what was left of it, on yet another lovely sandy beach where we had lollypops and chilled for a while. The boat ride back was great as our driver (do u call a boat man that?) was racing with all the other longtail boats, baring in mind he was the double of the happy buddha and he kept laughing loudly as he passed them the whole trip
back was great.
So all in all a brilliant day and it hasn't finished yet as tonight we aregoing to the 'half moon' party, the party doesnt start till midnight so considering the latest night we have had since being away is 11.30 this is possiblely the biggest challenge yet. Karen is convinced that it will be full of people trying to spike our drinks and sell us to the sex slave market so just incase she is right, Please! Please! please! no search parties, on the other hand will probably still be here tomorrow blogging away. xxx
