Yet another relaxing day on the beach - having said that I swam a considerable distance around the headland into the next bay north, snorkelling. It was difficult at the headland because the water is very shallow (in fact the section I swam is exposed at low tide). I found an excellent set of underwater rocks which although it has little live coral seems to attract a large range of fish. There are some gorgeous heaxagon groupers which have markings) like a giraffe (and are fairly common. There are a few a type of smallish angel fish with orange stripes an elongated snout. My favourite is a type of boxfish/puffer fish with huge eyes. I saw few of these and tried to follow them but they swim fast and sometimes disappear out of site into holes in the rock. We tried the Jungle Hut restaurant and had the most amazing whole fish which was delicious (must confess to having chips with it - couldn’t resist - needed a change from noodles or curry).
