We got back into Thailand, 30 more days on the passport, and headed over to some town I can't even remember for a stopover, said goodbye to two of our group then who have to go home, then we moved on to Krabi again and headed over to the beach spot of Ao Nang, if only to take advantage of a low seasoned priced nice hotel, had a good old time including some quality Kayaking out in the sea around the pretty little stacks that shoot up out of the water (James Bond Island type things) Rhian left us yesterday to go to Australia, so just Rick and I now, so seems a bit quiet until we pick up the next unwitting people to travel with.

Have been following the news in Bangkok with a certain amount of interest, but the 'backpacker' population here are not rushing to get the first flights out of here, I'll follow whats going on and maybe not go to Bangkok right now and just take it as it comes, if the Foriegn Office say we should hot foot out of Thailand then I'll do that, but for what it's worth I don't think it

Sadly the Tsunami hit here in 2004
will come to that.

Had a very quiet and chilled day reading 'Backpack' by Emily Barr down on the beach, is spot on with a lot of it's descriptions of locations and backpackers in general and the whole thing that goes through your head about home and how things have changed in your head since you left home. Certainly more meaningfull to me right now than a Dan Brown novel.

Let's just see what happens!
