Orangitang
Dont know how to spell it but what a cutie! We stayed about 2 weeks in Phi Phi since our last blog. We planned to leave everyday but we just loved the place so much so we couldn't. Went on a fabulous boat trip one of the days and visited loads of little Islands all with white sands, clear blue water and cocunut trees. We went to Maya Bay where the film "The Beach" was made, and Banmoo Island, Monkey Island and loads of others. We made our way up to viewpoint one day which is the highest point of the Island and you can look down over the bay. The view was amazing but it was hard work getting up there. There are hundreds of steps and a big steep path but it was well worth it. Other than that all we did was relax all day or stay out all nite and stay in bed all day !! Sure someone has to do it. We are heading back there for Christmas cos the people are so friendly so we are looking forward to that.
We left on the 22nd and headed for Railey Beach. We only spent one night here cos there was nothing much to see or
do if you are not into rock climbing. We stayed ina small bungalow on stilts in the middle of a rainforest. It was made of all natural materials. You could see through the floorboards and the bed was just a matress on the floor and there were strange noises coming from above our ceiling ha ha it was a good experience but we were afraid of our lives that we would be attacked by some strange creature or someting in the middle of the nite !!!!
We left Railey the next day and landed in Ao Nang. Ao Nang is much more built up than Railey and there is a lot more to do here. The sand on the beach is a lot browner and stonier than what we are used to but its ok. We went on a brilliant boat trip yesterday to Hong Island. This has to be the nicest place in the world. There is a long white sandy beach and next to that is a national park. The water was so clear. It really was paradise. The main guide on our boat was a ladyboy and s/he was a scream we had a great laugh
What a big lizard.
Found out after I got that close that he is dangerous ha ha ! with her. S/he was in love with the camera and posed for everyones pictures. We got some pics with her too so we have put them up.
Tomorrow we leave for Koh Pha Ngan so we are looking forward to that. I hope ye like the pics and we will post up more from our other memory card in a few days.
