NOTE: SOMETHING HAPPENED WITH UPLOAD PICTURES ON THIS ONE ... SO I'LL DO THAT WHEN GOT ACCESS AGAIN (M OFF TO NORTH OF LAOS NOW ...)

Every town, every village has its own center and i continuously look for places to stay just conveniently far enough to be out of the crowd, so Gin's Place it was ... owned by Gin, a thai lawyer who loves american westerns and is more of a poet and artist when you meet him than someone who you would expect to practice law ... and run by Lucy, his business oriented wife. But more about them later ... i ended up only 8km from the center of the Golden Triangle, which is a little island in the shape of an old ax in the middle of the Mekong where Birma (the locals never use the LEGAL NAME Myanmar...) is on the north, thailand on the west and Laos on the east side of this island ... the picture taken in the boat is about the exact center of the Golden Triangle ... the town at the border is obviously a total tourist trap and what i found most curious is that curious is that there's no border crossing ... either you have to travel few hrs west for Birma and few hours east for Laos ... Beside the 3 huge wooden rectangular icons representing each country by their own expression of Buddhism, the huge golden Buddha in scaffolding and the House of Opium (which obviously is a museum now ...) there was not much else to do than to try to politely get rid of vendors and local kids trying to sell handembroidered bracelets. To spend a few days with the two french ladies was a pleasure ... not only did we really get also, i realized how good my command of the french language really is, we were making jokes, and in french that's usually play on words AND we had some great philosophical conversations, about the universe, religion, corruptess and hypocracy of those in power, u know the usual stuff which is worth a good dialogue ... and the amazing thing, i thank goodness remembered on the night of the 20th of March we were in the midst of the spring equinox, my favorite moment to be in touch with the magnatic energy and balance of the earth/nature ... the once in a year moment where a raw egg can stand straight up as when the sun crosses the equator from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere ... like everyone who hears of this the first time, Ghislaine and Huguette were skeptical ... i rushed downstairs to the restaurant's kitchen (which i had made mine from day one to keep my drinks cool), and with the flashlight of mi sometimes not so smartphone, but this time very handy, i found a few trays of eggs stacked together ... i picked 3 goodlooking eggs (yeah, how can you tell, dlooking eggs (yeah, how can you tell, by color, form etc as obviously they were going to be photographed ...) and rushed back as i realized the actuall moment of the equinox had already passed almost 10 hrs ... since the moment i've heard of this phenomenon in 1999 i've been able to do it every year and noticed that during the time of the sun passing the equator the magnetic force is strongest and the most easiest time to balance the egg ... i dropped down on my knees and lo and behold i think i had my egg standing straight up within 2 minutes ... the fastest i've ever completed 'my mission' ... during those two minutes i was being made fun off however the mood changed rapidly once i danced around my balancing egg ... it's hard to explain to those who have never witnessed or experienced first hand the moment the egg stays up ... a power, an energy, a fullfillment to just be in touch with nature is sometimes overwhelming ... Ghislaine jaw dropped and she fell to the ground as well ... however she kept being very skeptical and thought (like so many before her) had tricked her ... i told her 'just believe, u can do it' and while she was in utter concentration Huguette had already given up ... i just loved Ghislaine's intencity and thought i should digitally capture her and while framing i was thinking 'she's such a soulful human being, she can do it '... the moment i 'clicked', she clicked as literally at that specific timing her egg balanced straight up ... i think the picture shows her completion to be one with the cosmic energy for one moment ... Huguette was stupified and decided to give it another go ... however after a lot of impatience and irritation she stopped and handed over the egg which miracuously i had balanced even faster than my first successful attempt ... however by that time her vibe was quite negative, so we started telling her she should just believe and that she can also do it ... i mentioned she should just let the unseen energy flow through heould just let the unseen energy flow through her ... with one smooth motion i picked up the egg and held it in front of her 'try once more!' ... without nt of her 'try once more!' ... without any intention i did sound like a drill sergeant and quickly changed to a supportive one and as i was telling her it's all about magnetism and that we are all capable once in control of this energy of way more than we can comprehend with our feeble minds ... she looked at mi, in wonder, in awe, in expectance, and while i nodded she was gonna do fine also her egg stayed up ... her tearfilled eyes thanked mi without words ... and again we had created a Triangle ... the next day Huguette told mi she could still feel her fingertops on fire ... hmmmm i guess it was what she wanted to feel and experience ... all well and good, but that didn't help her blisters while walking to one of the oldest temples in Thailand (funny enough i seem to pick places without knowing that they are pilgrimage spots for many Thai and foreign buddhists, due to the ancient history of these temples ... i just want small out of the way places, however Chiang Saen might be a small fisherstown now, it once was the center of the 7th Thai Kingdom ... the intricate goldleaf details on the carved wood telling once again Buddha's life story is spectacular and breathtaking ...again i think the pictures tell way more than my words, so just inhale the images ... and that afternoon after a long a satisfying nap i set out to visit the old ruins nearby town ... verses were just pouring out of mi and that didn't happen in a long time (for those who don't know, or those who have forgotten, after my brain injury due to a horsebackriding accident i received a certain gift of expressing myself in 5line poetry, which i myself call verses... here r just 3 :-) ... and please bare in mind my words are not to preach, or to tell what's right or wrong, they are just my opion, they are just words expressing my emotions, feeling, or thought as to how i view and experience reality

it's not a person who we should divine

as each organization behind him is out of line

however there is a higher energy that exists

but it is corrupt humanity which still resists

Letting go of all of that and we all be fine

When monkeys and other simians smile
Agression is followed for a while
However if we can smile as One humanity
Perhaps we can stop this worlds evil insanity
And only then we may live in a peaceful style

Hand in hand we can all be connected

As the thought of being one can be reflected

Behind us we shall leave a passage of suffering and war

As one we will be whole and can be way more

Let's face everything in our power which we have neglected

And on and on and on ... since have written a couple of dozen ... some totally my own emotions in regards to mi, others for mi it feels like i tap into the wisdom of the collective consciousness, what i call the cosmic knowlegde pool, and i only write this as when i read some of my verses back, i just can't believe i wrote it ... such wisdom, all known to mi, however not applying it enough to my own life, then what can i expect of others ... enough blablabla ... my 'inspiration' continued that afternoon at the ruins of Wat .............., one of the older ruins in where a piece of Buddha's head lies at the feet of the shoulders and upper body of what once was a statue of Buddha ... i later learned from Gin (whom i learned lots of bout present and historic Thailand) that most Buddha ruins ended up like the one in the photographs is because each and every statue of buddha in any temple in the world have some gold in the place where the heart should be ... so thus the Birmese army invading Laos, Thailand, etc didn't have the same Buddhist religion and destroyed most statues for monetary gain ... i continued writing bit there and then i got inspired to try to capture the amazing energy in the place ... this Wat is not working temple, but for the New Years celebration which happens on april 14th this year, 2254-2555 ... That day most of Chiang Saen's population place bamboo wrapped in silver and goldleafs, each layer representing the persons' age + one extra for the coming year against the Bodhi tree (see pictures ...) anyway ... i do think for one brief moment that day i was able to grab that higher energy m talking about ... no better written, i captured it, this time not only with words, also with an image ...

ps when i downloaded pictures attached they all were mixed up ... too much time spend on the internet to put them in order ... so the little build up/story is sometimes try ... this time out of luck
