Elephant Island

Hey everybody,

Sorry it took so long to wright this.We where in Ko Chang for the last week.It was a lovely Island and we are probably going to stop there on the way back from Cambodia for a night or two ifn thats alright with Aido and shane it will brake up the long journey a bit.Anyway stayed in a place called Nature in Ko chang The huts where nice only 3 euro each a night so we cant complain also the food was lovely we ate there about 2 times a day.Everynight they had a BBQ and the staff would do a fire show all this was on the beach.The staff where grat fun and thats one of the reasons we are going back there.
SHelley and I did our open water scuba diving course only took three days four dives was good fun but I dont know if Ill be doing it again im still having problems with my ears.We swam with Baracuda and blue spotted sting rays.
We stayed in Ko chang for about 8 days it was really hard to tare our selves away.We flew to Chiang Mai from Bangkok for only 24 euro with Nokair it was well worth it.1 hour flight or a 12 hour train journey.It took me a day or two to get used to the city life again we are staying just a block or two away from what seems to be the main place to drink and party in Chiang Mai.There are alot of older people here (dont know why) whith younger Thai girls.Maybe there here cause theres to many young people in Bangkok I dont know.We went to the night safari last night its more like a zoo at night but we did get quite close to deer and camel and zebra nothing scary though but after the tigers in Kanchanaburi I dont think much animals are scary.Shelley Mark and clodagh are bye the pool at the mo but I hate sunbathing.The weather here is coller than Ko chang or Bangkok its great the pool water is even cool.i can wear trousers jouring the day without dying its probably about 28 - 33 degrees.Im getting used to the heat I know 28 - 33 is hot but compared to 38 - 40 its good.So I think we are going to do a one pr two day trek I want to do two days but the girls dont fancy staying over night with the tribes.We are also going to go to an elephant sanctuary.Theres not much more planed yet but there is so much to do in chang mai way more than anywhere else Ive been.We where thinking about a bunjee jump but I dont know bout that....

After Chang mai we will be heading into Laos to a place called Luang Prabang dont know about internet there in sure there will be but We might not be able to put pictures up.Anyway we will wright again before we leave.We have to leave on the 6th of May.

Pringal (chum)
This guys name was Chum we called him pringal he stayed with us on the dance floor all night and used to come for swims with us.The Thai people dont like him so we wont be suoprised if hes not there when we go back

Looks like your still havin a dealy time. The fire shows look evil did u give it a go ;) haa.. You should do a bungy jump it well worth it after! And I think ur mad wearing trousers in 30*C heat, I just wish we were getting it here. Rain today rain tomorrow. Ttu soon. oh.. and staying with the tribes for a night sounds deadly! love to do that!
