day 5 - chiang mai

woke up in our sleepers on the train about 3hrs short of chaing mai.. views out the window were amazin, lush jungle mountains as far as the eye could see. Arriving in chiang mai we were met by hundreds of crazy taxi drivers fighting for our custom but we blagged a free lift from a local lady heading into town. we quickly found a hotel, threw the bags in and went explorin the old town. we found somewhere for breakfast... the food was so good we went bk 3 times that day!!! went walking and checked out the local markets before booking our bus tickets to pai. Then purchased a few beers which we enjoyed at the side of our hotel pool. Got an early night ready for our bus journey the next day.
