Night Bazaar, Slim, and Muay Thai

Here are some pics from this past weekend....

I wanted to get this pictures up so you can all see them. As you can tell from my other blogs, I go into great detail and put here right here in our shoes, but I slacked a little and am feeling a little lazy right now, so instead of trying to remember all that we did, here's some pictures. I'll post another one with more detailed descriptions of some of things that we've been up to.

Awwww....
The 4 scholars in a red bus on the way to somewhere....may be Night Bazaar, Muay Thai fight, or Jennie's....having a blast!

Chiang Mai Night Bazaar
The official sign of the Night Bazaar. This area of CM is full of street vendors selling food, arts, crafts, jewelry, and purses. This is the tourist stop for shopping versus the local stop at the Walking Street (Sunday nights).

Beer!
Two bottles of Chang around a bottle of Leo. The two other local "beers" out here beside Singha.

Slim
Jennie (bar owner), Leah, and Jon. This bar is literally just around the corner. BEWARE OF THE NEIGHBORING DOG GANGS....the bloods, and around the other corner are the crips....lol

Jeff, me, and Leah enjoying a lil kareoke....it actually might have been a Thai song!! We figure it's a way to learn how to pronounce and hear some of the language here.

The view from our seats at the fights. There are about 6-7 bars inside the "arena". We didn't have to get up to get any drinks, we just had this cool guy that served us.
