Cordy getting very excited about the sleeper from Bangkok to Chiang Mai
Hello!

We are now in Chiang Mai - North Thailand. It is cool and a lot calmer than Bangkok up here which is quite a nice change.

We took a night train that took 14 hours - we got terribly excited about the whole thing (took some photos showing this - will get them on here...sorry we are lame...and sad for taking photos of us being excited...anyway it was funny at the time 😊
We got especially excited when we saw they folded the beds out - and added curtains and gave you bedding and there were little light - it was just so cosy and we laughed a lot about it all with these Dutch girls that were in a bunk next to us. By about 1am - we were not so excited and just really wanted to sleep really - at every stop the train felt like there was another train hitting into it which would jolt you forward and then something started scraping the roof in a high pitched shreak. Anyway, it was a fun experience and it was great to wake up to green jungle.

Not sure what we are going to do here

A little food market we found in a street in Chiang Mai, a woman had a big bucket of live fish and was just pulling them out and chopping their heads off.
