Right waiting to fly to Bangkok, I have been told different things about the place just now, it’s under water, and it’s not. As I say there is only one way to find out and it’s to see it for yourself. We had booked a hotel near the airport for one night only. The plane ride was mad I looked out the window of the airport in Hong Kong to see a airbus, now this thing is BIG it is that big it makes your mind wonder, how the fuck?
I shouted on D to go as she was getting her Facebook fix, we waited till all the business class and first class passengers bordered and then we proceeded to go onto the monster. We got our seats and sat down D was excited as we had a window seat this time, well I had a window seat and it was taken off me.
3….2…..1…..0……. Rumble of the engines louder and louder and just like a bird in the sky we were
Off, only 4 hours foe the flight so I had to pick fast of what I wanted to watch, I was a bit board of movies by this time
from outside
3rd one up on the right so I went for classic Family Guy.
8 episodes later and we were touching down early, I jumped onto the TV and put it to the front camera of the plane for landing, I have done this every time it’s so cool to see the runway from such a distance and then screech wheels grinding and stop.
We got off the plane and went to collect our bags by this time we are none in the travel circles as international jetsetters, we know where to go when to go how to do it we were getting picked up from a shuttle bus by the hotel again this has been a great help so far as I really have not carried my bag anywhere, it goes from trolley to plane to trolley to shuttle bus to staff at hotel then room and then when your leaving it’s just back to front. After about a 25min drive we ended up going down this alley way and parked up outside the Hotel, We done the usual, got into the room which had dinner still lying outside the door, went in check it out it was a twin room, very big but I
found out later why it was so big we shared it was about 10,000 ants I was not happy, the refreshments were all marked up in price we even had a variety of condoms and fanny pads which I found hysterical. We sat up late and called the parentals to let them know we were not under water.
Next day we woke up and went down to get breakfast as it was included in the price of the hotel, this was our selection:
Gruel, Cold eggs, Cold sausages, Cold rice, cold tea, cold coffee and warm milk we asked for fresh eggs so we could eat them, after getting some toast and eggs we went back up to the room as it was 32 degrees outside this is like Scotland times 5.
We went back up to the room and the food was still sitting outside our door, I was disliking this place more and more I was glad that we were leaving. Our bags were packed and we went down stairs to the shuttle bus and set off for the airport. We decided about half way that we were going to leave the overnight train to Chiang Mai
Boiling
33 dgrees as we seen a video of people only 20 minutes in and board out there skulls, we looked at our flight options and decided to go with air Asia, waited in the queue for about 40 minutes and after giving all our details handed over the card to pay "Sorry Sir rejected" I was affronted "do it again" beep "Sorry sir again, rejected" I was raging I thought I have actually been robbed all our money has been taken out of our account by some fraud and we are stuck in Bangkok.
I had some money in my pocket and we had to buy internet so we could access Skype to shout at the bank, I was not happy at this point.
Welcome to the bank of take all your money and not give it to you please press 1, beep, EEEEEWWWWWoooooooo Mr Mihel Mcrorty. How shit is this connection, I had to not only repeat myself 5 times but in the end up got hung up on, lucky enough the woman who tried to take my call must have understood enough and we had our money back.
We didn't want to wait on another queue so
Shuttle bus
has arrived went with a different airline if you can imagine easy jet of Bangkok. An hour later we were up in the sky and set for Chiang Mai.
