Day 18. Here we are, yet another day in paradise and the sun's still shining. Not planned to do a great deal today except to visit a restaurant that someone had recommended in the visitor's book in the villa so it was a leisurely breakfast then swim and read (kindles everywhere) and sunbathe. One faction decided they would go for a walk and others decided they were mad as it was about 30 c at the time. While they were away an old friend paid us a visit and made itself at home, it's a dog's life.
The restaurant, Blue's Blue's, was superb: typical Thai style, with a hint of the Orient, outdoors, under the trees, a bit shacky (made that up but you know what I mean) and the food was fabulous, fish, shrimp, veg, rice and a bit of heat.
An old friend
It must like it here - merci beaucoup.

Take a tip from us- when you do finally take off your holiday hats and get on a plane to come home, put on your vests, long johns and cardigans for the taxi trip from Manchester. Brace yourself for the icy blast. Luv n stuff (but not sage and onion) Les Girls PS our wild birdie friends have turned their beaks up at the fat balls you left- we told them not to be so fussy.
