Day III

Buying the bike

We managed finally to buy the bike on saturday. After 8 hours of searching we found Honda phantom 200cc choper from local Honda dealer. After we got the bike I got happy, because I knew that the journey can start and become real.

Testing

Without plates we diceded to test the bike, we drove 170km from Bangkok to Pattaya. Roads where nice but still you could see the huge cap between country side and cities in infrastructure and living standards.

Here are few tips to buy a bike in Bangkok and in Thailand

1) Deside on coulpe of options about the bike
2) Make friends whit some local who can help you
3) Get or Visa or you have to get local person to quarantee you
4) If you a new bike, notice that it will take one week that you get the registerplates. If you buy used one you get them right away. You can drive in Thailand without plates, but you cannot cross borders
5) It takes time, take the whole day.
6) Be sure that you have cash with you.
7) Take notice that you are not alloud to drive on higways with motorcycle.

Day IV

Pattaya

Pattaya is huge mass tourist place in Thailand, you find a lot drunken white man whit thai-women. It is all about sex and getting drunk. We walked the famous walking street and slept in a budget hotel 600Baht / night. We moved from the busy side of pattaya to a nicer side from where we found nice bungalows to stay.







Fins

We had to go to see the famous Finish bars, we met some drunk Fins as susspected. We drank two coups of Juhla Mokka and left.

Review

Come to Pattaya if you want to have sex, beach, cheap beer and food. If you don't like those things do not come here.

Tommorow

We are planning to get back to Bangkok, we try to favour officials that we would get our plates faster and we could start our journey.
