Cordy having a massage on Ko Samet. It was a Thai massage so involved really wierd things like hitting and pressing with elbows. Lovely nonetheless.
Hello hello!!

We are still on Ko Samet...yes, we got rather stuck here. The island life is rather addictive...days have consisted of breakfast on the beach (museli and fruit drowned in milk - yum!)...sun bathing, buying fruit from these guys who walk the beached laden with lots of exotic fruits, swimming, sun bathing, supper on the beach-sitting on mats with low tables and laterns and eating the yummiest of thai food. Some restaurants at random times launch fireworks - it would seem just for fun, others put on fire displays where the bar guys come out and put on an amazing performance juggling fire!

But we are leaving tommorrow. We are heading back to Bangkok and then we are getting a flight to hanoi in Vietnam.
It wasnt our intention to fly, but because our time in Asia has been cut short it makes sense so that we have a full 3 weeks travelling the entire coast of Vietnam - i (issie) am especially excited about Vietnam - woohooo! cant wait!!

A few random things that have happened- we were sun bathing and a huge crab crawled on to cordys head - i laughed, she screamed and we

Our little bungalow on Pudsa beach, it was very sweet but had no sink which was very inconvenient, we had to use the shower to wash our hands and brush our teeth!
were saved by a german guy - who was rather shocked to see a crab, when he asked whether all the screaming was over an ant.

We had a storm and our bungalow that we were staying in (that resembled a shed inside) was an 'interesting' place to be...the shutters wouldnt shut so banged about, the curtains billowed in, the trees outside made shadows that looked like people - it was like being in a horror movie with vampires beating to get in!!

We hope you are all well - we are loving getting comments and messages - thank you and its nice to know people are reading the random news we write 😊 (as for spelling and grammatical errors ... the sun has got to us, we are finding it hard to talk let alone write, so forgive us 😉

lots of love from us both issie x x and cordy x x

The centre of the tribe village we trekked to, it was a bit odd because the only villagers there were ones trying to sell us stuff so it felt like a show really.
