a far away land

so, i've managed to get away from laos, some more not so fun things happened since i last wrote but i left imediatly, i' took at train to bangkok, hotels there are really expensive so i'm on an island just east of there. i got ripped off with my bus ticket so a man i met told me how to get into the national park without paying 400 B.. so i got my money back but its a long walk to the bungalos i want to stay at so i thought i'd stop and rest at an internet cafe for a minute or two


but hey.. lets list the fun things april has consumed over the past 2 weeks in laos

scorpian rice whiskey
snake soup (i'm a vegarian now.. no word of i lie.. we had to buy the snakes live)
pigs ear
alcohol made out of rice skins, sugar.. just add beer and filter through a clay pot/straw thingy

umm.. i'm sure theres more that i can't remember at this point
i'm pretty sure i ate dog a few weeks back

i went to the jungle market... big mistake

if you've known me a long time you'd remember buddha

the green iguanna amber had
well.. they sell them live.. i have a photo, i'll post later, they tie their little legs behind their backs and leave them there for people to poke at.. animal cruelty at its finest

well.. i'm off to get a bungalo.. lie down and take the rest of my trip to actually have fun and relax.. no more stress
