We are incredibly glad we went to India first. As i think it would have been more of a culture shock. We loved india to bits but some times the country was hard going to find the beauty you had to look beyond the dirt. In Thailand so far its much more obvious and you only have to get round the sleeze which is easy cus it seems restricted to certain areas. We spent 5 days in Bangkok on the khao san road which was ok some great temples and stuff to see. All the usual blags..its closed..its cheep taylor..etc. We then took a bus to Hua Hin which cost us 200 b each.
