Rain in Bangkok

After a long journey from Frankfurt and arriving in Kao San Road, we were searching for a "good" guest house, but the rain delayed us in an hour or so. Then we spent the whole day equipping ourselves for the islands.

Now we're on the internet thanks to the third storm since our arrival.............

We enjoy our first pad thai (and our second) and fruit shakes and the singha beer.

We're off today to Koh Lanta, so talk to you soon......

On our second day in Bangkok we did something for our culture and visited the Wat Po, in one of the temples there is the biggest lying Buddha made of gold. It was very impressive to see this.
